On average, our fiberglass pool packages cost between $55k for a small plunge pool and upwards of $90k for our largest pool packages. With options and additional concrete, most of our projects range from $70k -$100K.

How are fiberglass pools manufactured?

Accepted Answer

The process to make a fiberglass pool is very similar to how fiberglass boats and RV components are made. although there is a very technical process, These are the basic steps:

1. Pool Mold Preparation
2. Gel Coat Application
3. Vinyl Ester Resin Application
4. Fiberglass Application
5. Trim and detail the pool
6. Preparation for shipping

How long does it take to install a fiberglass pool?

Accepted Answer

Projects typically take about 4 weeks from breaking ground until final grade. Typically the pool itself is complete within 3-5 days, followed by the concrete deck, pool detailing, start-up and orientation and final grading.

What shapes do fiberglass pools come in?

Accepted Answer

Fiberglass pools typically come in one of the following shapes:

1. Freeform (curvy or lagoon-style)
2. Kidney
3. Rectangular
4. Roman (rectangular with arched ends)

Do fiberglass pools float out of the ground?

Accepted Answer

A fiberglass pool, when appropriately installed and maintained, will remain stable without floating or popping up. To achieve this, two preventive measures are crucial.

Firstly, the pool should be equipped with a way to manage monitor and manage ground water. At Toledo Pools, we incorporate a sump pipe to facilitate monitoring and removal of groundwater.

Secondly, it is essential to keep the pool filled with water at all times. The presence of water adds weight, effectively preventing both popping up and floating of the pool. If it is necessary to drain your pool, Contact Toledo pools and we will consult you on the proper way to do it.

When it comes to pools popping out of the ground, we have first hand seen more concrete pools popped out of the ground than any other type.
